Octopus salad for incredible. My friends had the seafood mixed grill platter, and loved it. Chef was really helpful with her suggestions. Service was delightful.

Menu of the day (cream soup, sardines with potatoes and vegetable salad, beer/wine coffee) costs 8.5. Very supportive & friendly staff. Recommended

Really solid seafood offering here, had some really nice grilled mixed plate. We didn’t book and the place was packed but the staff were friendly enough to let us hang round and grab a beer while we waited outside. The fried eel was something I’ve never seen or tried before and was not what I was expecting, but delicious nonetheless.

We had an excellent meal in the family run restaurant just before Christmas. Delicious food and great service. Despite language differences the host was great and helping us - and we learnt a little Portuguese as we went. Really nice people and great food. Highly recommend!

A delightful hole-in-the-wall. We were not too hungry. Hence, only ordered soups accompanied by garlic bread and and an appetizer (small fried fish). But we were not frown upon. The fish soup was the best that we’ve had in Aveiro, and perhaps in Portugal. The humble small fried fish was very fresh and umami, which I enjoyed very much with the white wine. Will definitely come back again to try their other dishes.
